Lainshaw Primary School

TCS Response Ltd are continuing their strong working relationship with East Ayrshire Council and are delighted to have completed a number of refurbishment projects on their behalf in 2022. One such project was at Lainshaw Primary School in Stewarton at a cost of around £200k.

The upgrade involved a full strip out of the current interior in preparation for the refurbishment. The project of works included the installation of 6 partitions, 6 fire doors and a full revamp of 8 classrooms in total. Each classroom upgrade included the installation of new glass partitions, skirtings, kitchen facilities with white rock walls and various other alterations. Once complete, general decoration was carried out with the installation of new flooring throughout. Due to the ever increasing demand on Lainshaw Primary School as a result of new housing developments, a further classroom was also created with the use of some additional partitioning.

TCS Response Ltd are committed to helping the local authority in enhancing the learning environments of children and young people throughout Ayrshire as part of their Children and Young People Plan. It has never been so important to invest in education after the disruption of recent events and the safety and wellbeing of children in school is of the utmost importance. Having a positive and engaging learning environment will propel pupils into their future careers and will give them the best possible start in life. The addition of partitioning and white rock walls will also assist with infection control and will help to reduce absences and children missing out on vital education as a result.
